personality: Luvia is an annoying characters. Shešs very proud of her origins and of her nobility and she doesnšt hide her supposed superiority to others. Her laughter is something that makes you lose your patience and also her attitude gets on people's nerve. She is really convinced shešs the best among the lines of the Association, and when she has to face someone who can be more skilled than her she canšt simply stand it and show her probably worst side (thatšs what happens whit Rin as they meet they donšt get a long very well)
personal story: Luvia is a member of the Edelfelt, a noble and ancient finish magi family who is specialized in the usage of Gandr. They took part at the 3rd Heavens Feel with two partecipants (as they passes their knowledge to twins, despite this is something avoidable by mages) but they couldnšt get their hands on the Grail because of several arguments between them. One of those magi is an ancestor of Rin as well.
