Over it is also caster a powerful malediction that can't be easilly avoided. Lancer can make two variations of his Noble Phantasm. One is simply using it against his target in close combat and the second consist of throwing against the target in a long range (in this case it's more powerful since it almost reaches Grugnir's power and also the spear isn't properly a close combat weapon)

gate of babylon (The King's Treasure: Gilgamesh's 2nd Noble Phantasm, or well the immaginary key that leads to the legendary town of Babylon (famous for its richness and for its terrible fall), letting him get all the items he keeps in his treasure room and use them in battles. It's on only a key in terms of space, but also in time and dimensions.

heaven's dress: a dress made out of gold, which is the connection to the real Holy Grail. It has 7 holes in it, corresponding to the seven rings that can extend the will on other souls. The holes are fileld with the souls of the seven servants.

heroe of justice: Shirou's dream to become the reincarnation of the Heroe of Justice in order to preserve people's life and protect everyone; a vane dream that grew in his mind because of the admiration he felt for Kiritsugu, a distortion of reality.

holy grail: traditionally the holy cup in which was collected the blood of Jesus Christ. It was taken to England by Giuseppe D'Arimatea and later on guarded by the Grail Knights. It's only visible to a perfectly pure person. the Grail is a theme really used in the Arthurian legends and later on in the middle-ages.
In Fate/stay night it's a vessel which can grant the one true wish of the winner and his/her servant, In the 3rd Holy war it was tainted by Angra Mainyu an evil essence that currupted it. It's actually the The Gate to the root of all things.
The Holy Grail is also a sort of "crater" located in a cavern in Mount Enzou, where the body of Justica von Einzbern lies, enwrapped by magic circuits which are also responsible for the Masters/Servants systems.

holy grail war: The war fought every 60 years (except the last one which happened only 10 years after the previous) between masters and servants in order to achieve the Holy Grail (also known as Heaven's Feel). The conflict featured in Fate/stay night is actually the 5th. The war was originally an experiment to get the power to open a gate leading to the root of everything. In that way the sorcerors performing it could understand the real essence of things and get the meaning of life and eternity. It was a way to seek immortality. The war was established because of some quarrels among the original mages involved in it and due to their disaccordance they adopted the masters and servants system and established some rules to regulate it. There have been 5 wars right now: the first and the second saw the failures in the completition of the gate; the third one lead to the corruption of the Grail; the fourth one saw the victory of Kiritsugu Emiya who destroyed the Grail and the last one was finally successful because of Ilya's sacrifice.

homunculous: a concept introduced by by the alchemist Paracelsus as he stated he was able to create a "fake" human. The homunculous is made through bones, sperm, skin fragments and hair from any animal of which the homunculus would be a hybrid of. In Fate/stay night Ilya is an example of homunculous created on the model of Justica (who was appereantly a "false" human too). She's basically a reproduction of her since she keeps her personality. It's said that such creatures could be associated to Golems and they're characterized by fragilty, a short life span and apathy. Alchemists were supposed to create a perfect being through this practice, an extention of nature a being that could be in harmony with the planet and through this bond that could be able to last forever.

hrunting: in english tradition the legendary sword given to Beowulf by Unferth that was used to kill Grendel's Mother. This weapon is ineffective in water and it vulnerable to poison (as the tradition implies); its pecuiliarity is that it continously aims the target although it's parred or avoided.

i

imagine: Shirou's ability/magic power to create objects and weapons through his imagination. we can say that Imagine is a higher and ultimate form of Tracing (although it has different effects and an higher endurance). Shirou acquires it in Heavens Feel.

invisible air - Barrier of the Wind King: Saber's 1st Noble Phantasm, which consists in hiding her sword to her enemies's eyes. The "invisibility" is due to the fact that the sorcery casted upon the sword allows it to reflect the light making it unseen. The air/wind that converges around the blade could aso be used for attack, releasing a very powerful air slash.
