After revealing himself as Rider's Master, Shinji tells her servant to
stay back and slowly walks toward Shirou, telling him to not stand with
such a scary face.
He also tells Shirou that it seems that even he was forced to became a
Master, like him, even if Shinji states that he got no intention into
partecipating in the Holy Grail War, considering the whole thing nothing
but a nuisance.
Emiya than asks why Shunji put up such a dangerous magic field if he do
not want to attack and the guy replies that's because Tohsaka's
presence in the school and he only did it to have some sort of defensive
tactics.
Again Shirou tells Shinji that he doesn't need to use that kind of Magic
Field and Shinji answer was a sort of play around the fact that he and
Emiya are long time buddies and the two goes to Shinji's place.
Back there Shinji remembers to Emiya that it was two years since he
comes to his place the last times and explains that he keeps Rider near
because is scared by Emiya's Servant inviting the guy to call Saber for
the sake undertanding each other, but Emiya refuses saying that if
Shinji is going to keep him in check he prefers to keep things the way
they are.
Shinji looks really bothered by Emiya's carefulness and he addres him as
a "useless as always" then he proceeds to talk about business asking
Shirou if he want to team up with him, addressing as excuse his presumed
inexperience as a Master.
Shirou interrupts him asking about Mitsuzuri, he wants to know if Rider
is the Servant who assaulted her but Shinji seems very disappointed by
the tragedy and he says that there's the possibility that another
Servant assaulted the girl and swearing that he got nothing to do with
the whole fact, although Rider shows an uneasy grin...
Emiya seems to believe in Shinji words (BAKA! >_<) and he asks how
Shinji has become a Master. the answer was that tha Matou Family is an
ancient line of Magician but theyr roots have dried out and so they
actually got no powerful Mages in the family, although they retains the
knowledge of the magical art.
Shirou is shocked by all of this, and asks Shinji if even Sakura is
learning sorcery but the other guy almost laugh at Emiya's ignorance,
saying that only the Eldest child in a family will become a mage, while
the other will be either raised in ingnorance of sent to other family as
foster children.
Understanding that Sakura had no part in the Holy Grail War, Emiya seems
much relieved and Shinji proceeds explaining that since he can't use
sorcery and Emiya doesn't have the knowledge would like to team up with
Shirou so that they could fill theyr weak points and beat Tohsaka Rin.
Shinji wants to use the trust that Tohsaka got in Emiya to defeat
Tohsaka, also since Shinji doesn't posses a "magic circuit" on him so he
can't be traced by other Magicians, hearing that Emiya explains that
Tohsaka have felt the rpesence of another Magician at school, so if that
wasn't Shinji there has to be another Master roaming in the schoolyard.
Again Shinji spokes, saying that Shirou seems to trust Tohsaka a little
too much and that maybe was her the one who attacked Mitsuzuri but Emiya
rise up and start to leave telling Shinji that the discussion ends and
saying that he knows he had to fight Tohsaka in the end but that for now
he can trust her.
Shinji says that he will just observe the sidelines for now and offer
Emiya another information, another Master had set up is nest at
Ryuudouji temple although he didn't know who he is.
The news shock Emiya, mainly because the fact that Ryuudouji temple is
the home of Issei (his misoginous friend remember? XD), and Shinji goes
on saying that according to Rider there's a witch who lives at the
temple and she's collecting a large amount of spirits, but Shinji do not
plan t stop her.
Emiya leaves and Rider accompany him at the entrance gate, here the guy
tells the Servant to take care of Shinji and Rider replies that Emoya is
a very good natured person.
Outside Shirou meets Issei and he asks him if something strange is going
on at the temple, Issei tells Shirou that lately his father took in a
beautiful lady as a guest and because of this there's a little bit of
restlessness at the temple.
The lady seems to have borrowed a room until her marriage and even Issei
states that she's a real beauty and that he cannot took his eyes off
her, when the temple-boy realizes what he just said he begins a sort of
mantra to purifiy himself from the bad thought! XD
When Emiya back home he finds Saber waiting for him with a scary looking
on her face, behind her there is Tohsaka and the two girls scolds Emiya
to be so late saying that they were worried he was assaulted, anyway
Emiya explains them what's happened.
Even Tohsaka is shocked to know that there's a Master at Ryuudouji
temple and when Saber asks Emiya how far they can trust Shinji the guy
answers that he doesn't know but that he's bothered about the female
guest Issei spoke anout.
Well, Tohsaka asks Shirou how did he answered, knowing for sure that
Shinji would have proposed an alliance to him, and when Emiya tells her
that he refused because he will have to talk to her first she seems a
little surprised.
Emiya then says that for now Shinji doesn't seem to be theyr enemy and
that even Rider seems to be a genuine person and although he sensed the
feels of an heroic aura from her, just like Lancer and Berseker, he also
sensed something different.
Hearing that Saber demands an explanation to Rin and the girl answers
that a Servant's nature is a reflection of his Master's nature, so a
ill-minded Master will summon an ill'minded Servant and so on.
Them the conversation shifts on Ryuudouji temple and Tohsaka says that
she doesn't understand why a Master will choose a place like that as his
headquarter but Saber tells her that Ryuudouji temple is a perfect base
for a Master beacuse is a perfect base for collecting spirits and when
Tohsaka aks why no other Master choose it Saber explains that the temple
is also protected by a magical barrier that inibits the Servants' powers.
Well even if it's so Tohsaka says that it will be easy for her and
Shirou to beat the witch, but Shirou says that there's something wrong
although he didn't realizes what it is.
Saber says that beacuse they know there's a Master at Ryuudouji temple
it's better if they attack but Shirou refuses, saying that if the Master
is a careful person it could have set up a trap for other Masters, going
there without a strategy would be like committing a suicide; Tohsaka
supports him also because Archer hasn't fully recovered yet.
The conversation seems to come to an end so Tohsaka asks Emiya to show
her the room, unfolding the plan she got to transfer herself under
Emiya's roof, as expected Emiya isn't too happy about this but there's
nothing he can do against the girl's willpower. XD
Meanwhile at Ryuudouji temple we caught a glimpse of the mysterious
master and her Servant, because of the source of spirits she can't
completely shut off the magical barrier around the temple so she order
the Servant, a samurai, to guard the main gate and he swore to do that.
Back at Shirou's place Tohsaka has took possess of her room and even
Saber requires to sleep in the same room of Emiya, while they are
arguing Emiya suddenly understand what was the sensation fo something
wrong he got, it's because Tohsaka is calling him by first name! Saber
tells him to not change the subject and Emiya refuses to accept Saber's
request.
For her first night under Emiya's roof Rin proposes to be the one who
prepares the dinner but suddenly the bell ring and both Sakura and Taiga
appears, Tohsaka tries to be harsh with Sakura hoping to get rid of the
girl (beacuse the fact Sakura will be in danger if she remains involved
with them) but Sakura go straight to the kitchen and prepares the dinner.
As they ate Taiga argues with Emiya about having two girls living with
him but Tohsaka comes up with an acceptable explanation and Taiga seems
to be flattered by that fact, however Tohsaka's explanation seems to
calm down even Sakura.
When the two leaves Saber asks again Emiya about Ryuudouji temple but
the guy's answer is the same, anyway the Servant wait for the others to
be asleep before leaving, direted to the temple where Assassin waits for
her arrival.
