At Fuyuki city' school a batlle is on between Tohsaka and Emiya, the
girl finally enters the classroom where Emiya has hidden himself after
streghtening a table with the only speels he knows, and begin to shoot
magical bolt toward the guy, who remains hidden behind his improvised
shield.
As the table brokes Shirou runs out of the class, just to find Tohsaka
waiting for him and the girl asks him to surrender declaring herself as
the winner of the battle and asking Emiya to throw away a pipe he got in
his hand defining it a useless weapon.
Shirou refuses to surrender and Rin tells that she's going to kill him,
offering a sort fo sarcastic apology, and the boy realizes that she's
serious.
As a final warning Rin asks Emiya to hand her the Reiju that control
Saber but the boy refuses stating that in doing so he will betray the
trust Saber got in him, Tohsaka gives him three seconds to decide what
he will do and begins to countdown but as she finishes a sudden scream
arose in the school and Emiya runs away in search of the probably victim.
Tohsaka follows him and they find a girl lying on the floor, Emiya says
that she's just unconscious but RIn explains him that her life energy
was almost all sucked out and begins to heal the fainted girl and, as
she takes a jewel and begins to concentrate, Emiya looks at her
expression thinking that he has already seen it before.
Tohsaka asks Emiya if he could close the door 'cause she's not be able
to concentrate properly but, as the guy approach the door, a sense of
danger rise in him and he stretchs her right arm to prevent an attack
directed to Tohsaka, ending up with a hole in his forearm.
With no care for a scared Rin, Emiya run out of the school in an attempt
to find the new enemy, ending up in the school's grove where he caughts
a glimp of what seems to be Matou Shinji however, when Shirou starts to
walk toward him he is attacked by a Servant and he is barely able to
defend himself with his magical enanched pipe.
As the Servant hide herself in the vegetation, Emiya thinks about his
current situation, knowing that he will not be able to sustain further
damage and that the next attack of the Servant will mean surely dead for
him, he considers about summoning Saber but decides to not do so 'cause
he is still able to move, even the Servant seems to consider the
possibility of Emiya calling Saber and asks him if he's not going to use
one of the Reiju.
Emiya answers that he cannot use it for a thing like that and beside
there are few of those and the Servant replies that is hard to take a
Servant-less Master seriously but that she will kill him gently and she
suddenly throws her weapon toward Emiya but the guy's reaction is fast
and he is able to parry the blow, saying that he think she lack in power
compared to other Servants running away in an attempt to escape.
But the first attack of the Servant was not without consequences, Emiya
feels a strange force grabbing his wounded forearm and ,when he wonders
what's happening, Rider explanation (yup she's the Servant) is a
visiblemanifestation of her dagger still piercing Emiya's right forearm,
since the dagger is linked to a long chain with Rider at the other side
the Servant hags up Shirou on a tree.
To free himself the boys seems to push the dagger further in his arm,
obtaining a slint of admiration from Rider, by the way as the Servant
proceeds to exterminate Shirou, Tohsaka appears trying a surprise attack
that Rider is barely able to dodge and, as Rin runs toward the fallen
Emiya, the Servant escapes.
Emiya and Tohsaka got a little chat about the fact that there are other
Masters at school and the girl says that a magic barrier was placed upon
the school's ground, when Emiya asks her if she want to continue the
fight she says no and invites the guy to her home where she examines
Emiya's wound.
Surprisingly the wound is almost healed already and Tohsaka wonders if
it's because the pact with Saber that Emiya is able to regenerate hsi
injuries so quickly, the two then talks about the other Master in the
school but his/her identity is unknown to both of them, besides Tohsaka
explains that the barrier that surround the school got the purpose to
drain life energy from all the people within it but luckily is not
active yet, in the end the two Masters comes up with a truce to stop the
barrier activation.
At Shirou's place a worried Saber stands outside the house wainting for
Emiya to return and Taiga tries to calm down her telling the Servant
that probably the guy is still at work, the two girls end up talking
about the dinner Sakura is cooking and the scene turns to show a glimpse
of Shinji and Rider, the boy is looking at Ayako Mitsuzuri (he's the
kidnapper then), who seems almost completely sucked out of life energy,
and he wonders about the appearance of a big obstacle (Emiya i suppose).
At Tohsaka's place Emiya and Rin are talking about magic and the ways it
should be properly used, but the view that Shirou got seems to irritate
Rin and the discussion ends with the two agreeding to meet at noon on
the school's roof to exchange informations, Tohsaka summons Archer
explaining to him of the truce she made with Emiya and sent her Servant
with the boy to ensure him a safe return.
When Shirou and Archer arrives at Emiya's place and, beacuse of the
Servant they got a little arguing that ends with Archer asking Shirou if
he really plan to win the Holy GRail War without fighting; Emiya answers
that he will fight when he had to do that and Archer replies that
Shirou's idea about not killing anyone and all his others romantic
ideologies will continue to hound the guy.
Emiya seems to get a little angry and Archer take leaves saying that the
path Shirou is trying to follow will eventually crumble before reality,
the episode ends with Shirou entering his home and checking Saber's room
to find her awake, but the Servant just tells him that she's glad to
have him returned unharmed and Shirou goes out on the balcony thinking
about Archer's words.
