episode 4

At the arrival of the white haired girl, Tohsaka seems preoccuied stating that her Servant is much stronger then they, anyway the girl is pleased to make acquaintance with Rin and she introduce herself as Ilya (Illyasviel von Einzbern) asking Tohsaka if she know that name. Rin seems to know what the name means and Ilya says that's enough introduction 'cause the others three are going to die anyway ans she command her servant Berserk to attack the trio. Saber engage the enemy, telling Shirou to stay back, as his name state Berserk is a wild and ferocious fighter, he wields his huge weapon as if it is a toy, and Saber is forced to an almost deperate defense while Ilya is really entertained by the battle between the two Servants and the clear superiority of her Berserk. Moving with great speed and agility Saber tries to engage Ilya directly but the wild assaults of Berserk her from doing so and she is hardly hit by Berserk giant sword (well, for the size it is we could consider it a great maul...O_o) and she flies back finally hitting a lamp, so Ilya tells Berserk to finish her in one blow. The giant swing a strong slash hitting the ground and provoking a linear break in the road but Saber dodge the attack jumping and tries an upside down slash that is intercepted by Berserk's weapon and again she hit the ground. However the wound sustained in the previous fight with Lancer seems to hurt Shirou notices the fact and run toward Saber telling her to stop but he's stopped by Rin who then use a sort of "magic missile" against Berserk, diverting his attention from Saber who tries a surprise attack. Sadly, Berserk is not so easy to fool and Saber sustain another serious wound, falling on the ground for the third time in this fight, again Shirou walks toward her but she raise an hand in his direction to stop him, Shirou is truly touched by the bleeding figure of her Servant and he seems to be a little desperate for her fate. Ilya says that there's no mean she can win, revealing the nature of her Servant, he's Hercules the strongest hero of the ancient greece, unknown to all of the presents they are watched by a misterious seer using a crystal ball, probably another Master or a Servant, anyway Ilya tells Berserk to behead Saber so she could not regenerate further. Shirou is desperate, at the point that his Reiju glow with an arcane light and, as Berserk moves to finish Saber, he moves toward the direction of the gigantic blade parrying the blow directed to Saber with his own body, both Rin and Saber are stupefied by the foolish action of Emiya and Ilya too, to the point she decides to end over the fight dismissing Berserk and telling Rin that she's her next target. The reaction of Rin is to scold the fainted Emiya, telling him that she could not save him anymore. There is another flashback with Shirou and his father, about the fact the the parent wanted to be an hero of justice but he was unable to do so, and Amiya tells him that he will become an hero in his sake, after that Emiya wake up in his room, with several bandages covering his chest. As he wonders about what's happened the night before he found Rin quietly drinking some tea in his dining room asking her why she's there and obtaining a complain about the bad quality of the tea in hsi room as an answer. Rin tells Emiya that she carried him back home and that his wound strangely healed with incredible speed by itself, wondering about the possibility that Saber was passing him some magical power to increase his healing rate, although that's not so normal. Tohsaka says that Shirou is an impossible Master 'cause never before has a Master tried to save his Servant to the point of shielding him with his own body and besides she says that is a meaningless action because if he had died Saber would have disappeared as well. She then asks Shirou what his intentions are, and the boy answers that he didn't want the incident of ten year ago to happen again, although he got no interest in the Holy Grail War and Rin says that Saber could kill him for this opinion beacuse even the Servants wish to hold the Holy Grail. They got a discussion about the spiritual nature of the Servants that ends u with RIn saying that the other Master could not be so kind as Emiya in the way they conduct the war and that can push theirselves to the point of feeding their Servants with human souls to gain more Magical power, Emiya is shocked by this revelation wondering if even Saber will devoure human souls to further gain mana, but Rin interrupt his toughts asking him if he really want to hunt the other Masters only if they do evil and doing nothing if the situation doesn't require him to take action and Emiya says that if that happens (a Master doing evil i mean) he will just stop them. Rin says that thye problem in doing this is that he will be hunted down by other Master and the two of them ends up talking about the Servant encountered the previous night, with Rin saying that Ilya was careless to let them know her Servant true identity 'cause she also let them know Berserk weak points but Emiya interrupt her asking if she knows Saber real name. Well Tohsaka takes a little fun of him saying that is better for Emiya to not know it at all 'cause he's the type that could reveal his Servant true name just by accident, she then leaves telling Shirou that is better if he not view her as a human being from now on, on the way back she meets with Sakura who smells the scent of blood on her as Tohsaka passes by, but she tehn encounter Fujimura sensei. Back at Shirou's place Emiya search all his house to find Saber in the "dojo" (or so it seems), Saber tells Shirou that fighting is her part of the job and that there's no need to protect her, the two argues a little but in the end Emiya seems to accept the fact. Bothered by what RIn has said before he ask Saber if she will devour human souls to acquire power but she answer that injuring someone who's not wielding a sword is not a possible solution and that will go against her vows as a knight so Emiya is truly relieved and, when Saber says that if she will be ordered to do so he couldn't do nothing else but obey, he responds her that he will never order such a thing, asking her forgiveness to have insulted her with his ignorance. Saber tells Shirou to raise his head, stating that the whole fact was due to a big misunderstanding by the two of them, and they both walk out of the dojo heading to the dining room for breakfast, with Shirou asking Saber if she's ok with japanese food and the episode ends up with a funny dialogue between the two.
