The episode open up with Shirou awaking in his bed after seeing again
Saber's memories, especially he dreamt about the beginning of her
failure as a king, when she threw away human emotion in order to better
guide her people, at the price of losing the trust of her vassals.
Emiya wonders why Saber's followers criticized her when she has come to
the point of threwing away all his selfness in order to protect them,
and also why Saber did not said anything about it until the end, the guy
also remembers the discussion they previously got about the desire she
wants to fulfill upon obtainung the Grail.
At breakfast we are able to see again the funniest character ever (at
least in this serie): Taiga, and as always she got a huge appetite! XD
Fuji-nee, Sakura and Saber are already sitted in the dining room
(waiting for one's arrival :P), and Sakura says that she also prepared a
dessert, causing a great deal of Joy from Taiga, Rin enters the room too
saying that it seems like a gorgeous meal, asking if there's a holyday
or something, then she says that she got to introduce someone to both
Taiga and Sakura and suddenly Ilya appears.
The little girl looks amazed at the meal and Rin tells her to mind her
manners, she then introduces Ilya as a dinstant relative of her now
visiting the country and ask if Ilya could stay there for a while, with
a deal of courtly manner Ilya introduces herself and gaining the appoval
of both Fuji-nee and Sakura.
At breakfast there's a funny scene about Rin that remembers to Ilya
about the right manners, and Ilya responds trying to seize even Rin's
meal too, there's also an exchange of killing glares between the two and
meanwhile is Taiga who seizes the other's meal! XD
Finally even Shirou appears and sits, he tris to talk to Saber about
their previous discussion but the Servant stops him saying that private
talks during meals are not beneficial for his digestion, Shirou looks
dazzled and Sakura laughs a little because of it, so Emiya asks her
what's the matter but the girl replies that's just because he and Saber
are getting along well.
Suddenly there's a change in TV programs and the speaker talks about
another gas leak accident, Sakura looks bothered but, as the news goes
on even after breakfast, she says that it will be allright.
Well, there's another funny scene as the decision for who will eat a
particular kind of dessert is left to rock, paper and scissors; while
Sakura wnet to clean the guest room.
Lately Saber and the Masters are in the dojo discussing about the gas
leak incidents, Rin says that the scale is much larger than before and
that the whole thing it's caused by the Master in Ryudouji temple, now
that Berseker is gone he has started to do whatever he wants it seems.
Shirou agrees that they got to stop him as fast as possible, but because
the people that resides in Ryudouji temple the use of Excalibur is out
of question so Rin proposes to investigate a little more and Ilya joins
them asking if they are coming up with a strategy saying that she got
some useful info too.
She says that the gas leak episodes are not the work of Ryudouji Master
but instead is Caster the one who's doing it, she practically says that
there are two Servant at Ryudouji temple, that's because Assassin was
summoned by Caster; being the Magician Servant she was capable of doing
a thing like that.
Futhermore Caster killed her former Master, took a normal human as
Master instead and hide herself in Ryudouji temple; after saying that
Ilya also says that Caster identity is Medea, the greek witch.
Rin says that if the thing are like this their only problem is Assassin,
that's because Caster's Master is nothing but a mere human and Saber
would have no problem in beating Caster, so she suggests to attack the
temple and suddenly the bell rang.
Issei has come to pay a visit to Emiya and while chatting he says that
professor Kuzuki Soichirou also lives at Ryudouji temple, from about
three years, back to Tohsaka and the others they started discussing
about the possibility that Soichirou is Caster's Master and they decide
to attack him when he go back from work in the evening.
The ambush almost seems to succeed but suddenly Caster appears and parry
the magic bolt that Rin fired at Soichirou's back, Kuzuki is really
Caster's Master and his Servant warns him about the fact that because
thing like this he should stay put in the temple.
Both Emiya and Saber come out from their hideout and Soichirou starts
chatting with Shirou, when the guy asks him if he's controlled by Caster
he simply asks him back how he has come up with such a question so Emiya
replies that, because Soichirou is not a mage, the whole incidents must
be Caster's doing.
But surprisingly Kuzuki asks if the incidents are really a bad thing,
because what Caster was doing is not dangerous as if she would have took
their lives in one shot, Emiya argues about involving innocent people
but Soichirou seems to consider it a necessary evil so a fight erupt and
Saber come forth to protect his master.
But Soichirou is not a normal human at all, he got stunning combat
abilities that brings him to an equal level with Saber if not superior,
in fact Saber is pushed back, in the case of Caster and Soichirou is
Kuzuki the one devoted to the front.
Rin tries to intervene but Soichirou quickly put her down and then
breaks Shirou's reinforced staff, so the guy has nothing else to do that
try to use his Imaging, and what he brings forth are nothing less that
Archer's Swords; Kanshou and Bakuya.
Even with that swords he's no match for Soichirou but suddenly Caster
stops the fight, saying that the Holy Grail can even be summoned without
fighting, they just need a human with a strong magic circuit, strong
enough to become the Grail's Vessel, Caster wants to sacrifice a
Magician in order to obtain the Holy Grail and proposes the others to
join forces.
When Emiya and his companions refuses Caster disappear with Soichirou
saying that there's already another suitable magician to use, so the
group rush toward Emiya's mansion thinking that the magician was Ilya.
When Saber reaches the mansion she finds Sakura lying on the ground but
when the Servant tries to help her, Sakura stabs Saber's chest with a
strange dagger, Caster has possessed her and now has sealed away the
Excalibur Noble Phantasm with her own Noble Phantasm: Rule Breaker.
When Emiya and Rin shows up Caster says that she'll take Sakura as a
sacrifice for the holy Grail because the girl has a latent Magic Circuit
in her, and flies away inviting the others to come to Ryudouji temple
while Emiya lets out a desperate scream.
