The trio composed by Saber, Rin and Archer finally reaches Ilya's
castle, upon arrivarl Rin asks Saber if it is there that SHirou is held
prisoner obtaining an affermative answer and Archer states that the
whole thing is pure insanity, because he clearly remember who's the
Servant of Ilya also asking Saber if she remember too.
However for Saber doesn't matter who her opponent is and she start to
say something about what a Master is for his Servant but Rin interrupt
her ordering Archer to dematerialize as they see Ilya leaving the castle.
Meanwhile Shirou is still trying to free himself and after a little more
struggle is finally able to do that, when he tries to exit the room he
heards some footsteps wondering if someone is patrolling but, lucky for
him, the rumors sources were Saber and the others and the companions
reunites and start with a little (and funny) arguing. XD
But as they run through the castle the condition of Saber suddenly seems
to worse as Shirou's Servant fall on her knees, the girl says that even
if her body conditions are bad she could still be a shield for her
master but Shirou tells her to stop saying non-sense and tryes to pull
her up, Archer come forth and tells Shirou of not thinking to save her
because there's nothing he can do and a cold gaze pass between the two.
The group proceed further finally reaching the main entrance hall but as
they move toward the door Ilya appears asking if they're leaving already
after coming such a long way, in fact the white haired girl never left
the castle but simply put up a sort of illusion of herself leaving her
mansion as the group discovers after a question posed by Rin.
Naturally Ilya call forth Berseker and the big guy appears jumping down
(without ruining the floor also! XD) and Ilya asks if there's nothing
else to talk about swearing that no one would escape from her castle
today after obtaining a tense silence as answer.
Saber starts to say Shirou to run and that she will fight to protect him
but seeing her condition Rin asks Archer to slow Berseker down a bit,
Saber and Shirou are shocked by Rin's proposal but the girl replies that
they will run while Archer fight Berseker and even Archer agrees with
her Master but he also asks her if he can "kick his enemy ass a little"
and Rin smiles to him approving his intentions.
Hearing that Ilya launches Berseker to attack but Archer materialize two
short blades and cast one toward the roof, provoking a little debris
fall that obstruct the way, before doing that however he says to Emiya
that the boy is not one that will fight but one that creates and that
Emiya got to Master that one thing because the things he imagines are
always his strongest form.
So, as the other three flees, the combat between Archer and Berseker
begins, at first archer is overwhelmed by Berseker's brute force, the
simple air pressure provoked by Berseker slashes is sufficient to harm
him and even Ilya teases him for being weak.
After being literally pushed into a wall by one of Berseker blows Archer
decides to play his trump card, with a jump he rises himself on a
balcony and begin to chant the first verse of his most deadliest
tecniques, a sort of spiral blade sword appears and when Berseker jump
towards him the sword become an arrow that Archer throws at his enemy
finally harming him with a sort of glowing explosion that even Shirou
and the others see.
Ilya is stupefied by the fact that Berseker actually got to defends and
wonders about Archer's Noble PHantasm while Rin's Servant wonders about
the fact that normal opponents would have been dead already, but
Berseker is still alive and when he lets out a scream Archer jumps out
of the mansion through a huge serie of holes opened in the upper side of
the building by his previous attack.
He waits for Berseker out there and when the other Servant come to him
he compliments Heracles for moving so fats with his huge body, however
when Berseker jump towards him the floor collapses and he finds himself
trapped with half of his body, Archer takes advantage of the situation
and recites the following verses of his chant, he creates a series of
short sword that flyes toward Berseker causing another explosion and
then replies Berseker's weapon itself striking at his opponent, but he
got to lose the use of his left arm as a sort of price.
Berseker is still alive and strike him to the wall again, while
suffering Archer reminds the face of Shirou, and recover his self
confidence, walking toward his opponent again and bearing a blow that
make him fall to the floor where Ilya is, even Tohsaka seems to feel the
pain his Servant is now enduring as her reiju glow with what it seems a
sad red light.
Ilya descends the stairs advancing toward Archer, amazed that he's still
alive too; she orders Berseker to kill him before he gets killed and
Archer tells her that she's so merciless also calling the girl by name,
a thing that seems to disorient her, and he then says that although he
knows he got to lose he will make hard for BErseker to end the Holy
Grail War.
He again materialize one of the short swords and throw it at the lamp
obscuring the place, in the darkness even Ilya isn't able to sense him
until a ray of moonlight show Archer on her knees and Ilya order
Berseker to finish him off.
But as the other Servant approaches, Archer complete his chant and a
circle of fire appears transporting both Ilya and Berseker in a sort of
clockwork world with many Blades plunged on the ground where Archers
dares Berseker to withstood the unlimited number of blades; this is
Archer's ultimate techniques: the Unlimited Blade Works (or UBW for
friends XD).
As Archer runs towards his enemy in a last attack Tohsaka freezes
herself as the reiju on her hand disappear, meaning that Archer finally
disappeared too, the girl still pulls her companions to go on because
Ilya will soon pursue them.
At Ilya's mansion Archer disappear in a glimpse of light while Ilya is
amazed by the fact that he was able to defeat Berseker five times, she
even scold her Servant for going easy on his enemy but the Blade filled
body of Berseker doesn't seem to confirm this, however she orders him to
recover and he do that in almost an instant.
The episodes ends with a special (and touching) ending theme in wich we
see Rin's pendant revealed by the disappearance of Archer body, meaning
that in the end Archer was Shirou himself.
