This episode starts with a brief review of the previous episode and then
we saw Shinji roaming Fuyuki city in a really bad and crazied mood,
flattered by the conclusion of the previous battle and the failure of
his plan he seems to wantr to kill everyone and everything, as if the
world is a personal insult to him.
Blinded by his anger e crash on a trash bin letting out a furious scream
of anger, in front of a number of common people that stares at him while
Rider stands on the top of a building with what it seems an uneasy
expression in her face.
Back at Emiya's place our hero is doing a phone call just to check
Taiga's condition, the answer he gets is that she was just a little
fatigued but now she seems to be okay because she even started to ask
for the seconds, as the guy says to Saber when the Servant asks him
how's Taiga doing.
Emiya would like to visit her but there's something he got to take care
first, find and eliminate the threat of Shinji and his Servant, and
although Saber says that recovering from his wounds should comes first,
Emiya reply is that his health condition are less important if they have
to prioritize things because he want to stop SHinji and Rider before
they set up another force field.
When Saber tells him that is true objective was not to stop Shinji but
to rpevent other victims Shirou tells her that it's not only that but
also he wants to force his previous friend to take responsability, and
defeat Rider would serve that purpose and besides it's only logical to
take action also to prevent more victims.
When Tohsaka get to know of Emiya's intentions she asks him if he thinks
to have a good chance of winning and when the guy looks stupefied by her
question she begins to explain the nature of Rider's noble phantasm,
Shinji's Servant basically got a Noble Phantasm superior to her own
combat capabilities and Saber thinks that it's a type of noble phantasm
close to the sorcery that Rin use.
Hearing of that Rin says that is a strange thing because common sorcery
wouldn't be able to harm Saber because wizardy is nullified by a
stronger magic and for a wizardy to penetrate Saber's armour it would
require what people refer to as magic.
When Rin asks Saber if she thinks that Rider is a magician too the
Servent replies that she didn't sensed that kind of mana from her so
it's probably an anti-personnel Noble Phantasm, in other words a Noble
Phantasm far stronger than the other just like a gun with unlimited ammo
and the conclusion is that they got to defeat Rider before she use her
Noble Phantasm.
So Shirou and Saber left in search of Shinji while Rin says that she got
to take care of other things, the first place they visit is Matou's
house but there's no trace of the two there, Saber asks Shirou if he
wants to visit Sakura but the guy refuses, telling her that he didn't
want to involve the girl in the battle.
The two roams Fuyuki city for the whole day and finally they come to
rest in a park filled with burned trees, where Saber force Shirou to
rest for a while and as always Shirou dreams of his past.
When he wake up Shirou realizes that it's almost night time and he got a
little arguing with Saber for not waking up him, but the Servant replies
that he needed to rest and recover as a necessary action but Shirou
tells her that if he got to rest there are better places than the park
they are in,
In the past Shirou lived near that park, before the conclusion of the
last Holy Grail War, but a huge fire took place and many died; it was
then that Kiritsugu found and adopted him.
Shirou later heard that the place was the site of a battle and wonder
about the irony of being both a Master and a survivor from that place,
Saber asks him if that is the reason he wants to prevent more victim but
Shirou replies that in not so, instead it's something simple the guy got
a sort of sense of duty for being the sole survivor so he wants to
prevents another thing like that just to repay those that passed away.
The two set off again and finally they found Shinji and his Servant,
mainly because they were attacked by Rider.
Rider lures Saber on the top of a building and while ascending the two
Servants begins an aerial battle with advantage for Rider, Shirou starts
to follow them but the elevator doesn't reach the top so he got to
continue on the stairs and when he went off from the elevator we caught
a glimpse of Berseker in the dark hallway.
Meanwhile Saber finally reaches the top but unfortunately Rider had
already used Bellerofont, a glowing white pegasus that is her Noble
Phantasm, and begins to attack Saber who doedged almost all the blows
directed to her.
Saber syays that to have been able to summon a mythological creatures
Rider's sins whould be extensive and that she got to be an unvirtous
sort of Servant, but Rider replies to curse herself as much she wants to
not being able to touch her mount.
Beacuse Shirou is not around Saber thinks to act carefully and wait till
the moment Rider is defenseless but unfortunately Emiya appears and an
hidden Shinji begins to laugh at him for the diffrence of power between
the two of them and he finally orders Rider to take care of the two foes.
To control the kind self of Bellerofont Rider summon a set of bridle so
she is able to force him in a merciless mood, stating that on the top of
a building noone would notice if she uses her too powerful Noble
Phantasm, and she then prepares to strike death Saber and Emiya.
Unfortunatelu for her the same thing about the Noble Phantasm is also
true for Saber and Emiya's Servant begins to summon the powerful wind
that we previously saw in her battle with assassin, and when Rider dive
towards her a huge golden sword appears in Saber's hands.
The knight lady then releases a huge golden ray of light that
annihilates Rider and her mount, an attack so powerful that even Rin is
able to see it from dinstance, a sort of ascending comet whose name is
Excalibur!
Is Matou's mansion even Sakura saw the end of Rider and she seems to
spell the name of Shinji's Servant (and that's because in the end Rider
was not Shinji's Servant but he borrowed her from Sakura it seems...).
After the defeat of Rider Shinji's Reiju begins to burn and the guy
flees in front of Emiya's fury, but Shirou got to stop from getting his
enemy because Saber falls to the ground unconscious because of the large
amount of mana she used and the episode ends with the guy holding his
Servant in his arms.
